New Zealand Photo Tour Details

We know what you want to photograph!

One Day

Join our one day intensive photo tour and let us to guide you through the best spots for photography in the area of Mt. Cook and lakes around. Over the workshop we will have a great chance to shoot stunning landscapes, towering mountains and glacier lakes with floating icebergs. The region of Mt. Cook is also known for incredibly clear starry sky. With our guide you will have the opportunity to focus on astro photography and learn how to capture the Milky Way.

The tour starts early in the morning to catch the first light touching the highest mountain of New Zealand – majestic Mount Cook. Throughout the day we will explore various locations in the national park including both Hooker and Tasman Valley. We’ll also shoot the fascinating scenery around the lake Pukaki while we drive along one of the most scenic roads in New Zealand. Before the sunset we will move to lake Tekapo to shoot amazing Church of the God Shepherd. As the sky darkens we will finish the tour focusing on long exposure photography and the night sky.

Tour Extension | Image Post-Processing

Have you ever wondered how some works of photography stand well apart from the rest? This tour extension on digital post-processing will help you bring out the best from your photographs, after you have transferred them from your camera. I’m offering you a special three hours post-processing lesson (usually on the following day after the tour) where I’m going to explain you how do I edit photos in Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom and teach you how to achieve stunning look of your images and bring them to life. Martin is very passionate and knowledgeable about post processing techniques and loves teaching people about editing photos. Learn from him to bring the touch of perfection to your digital images and discover how to post-process your photographs to make them stand out.
